I guess, you are the Ilja, Schmelzer ( http://arxiv.org/find/hep-th/1/au:+S.../0/1/0/all/0/1 ) from Weierstraß Institute.
I have not studied the details yet (and I will not have the time in the next weeks), but still I have some questions. First of all: Why do you not use path-integral approach which is usually the natural way to treat lattice problems (but maybe it is only common sense)? (I understand that you do not want to discretise an imaginary time like in lattice gauge theory or do numerical calculations.) And second: What about dualities in your model. What are the effects of the choice of your reference cell and your affine transformations on physics? Do you have to adjust parameters? And last question for today: Any ideas about renormalisation? |

And, of course, the fields which describe my ether cells are real fields, not Grassman fields. That's why I had to find a connection between fermionic fields and usual scalar fields, instead of using the Berezin approach. Of course, one can work with path integrals for the scalar fields. That may be done later. Zitat:

There is, of course, much to be understood. Especially how relativistic symmetry appears. I think renormalization allows to get rid of the additional scalar gauge fields (because they have nonzero trace, different from the SM gauge fields). To obtain the fermion lattice Dirac operator from the scalar Lagrangian exactly I need some fine tuning. I have some hope that this fine tuning appears unnecessary because the other operators appear to be irrelevant for large distances. And it is, of course, interesting to look how the two additional parameters of the theory of gravity behave in renormalization. But these are yet only not very well educated guesses. |
